Now there are more than 65 VA Regional facilities that use state-of-the-art audio/visual equipment to host live Video Hearings between you (and your representative, if you have one) and a Veterans Law Judge in Washington, D.C. Best of all, statistics show that Video Hearings have the same grant rate as in-person hearings. Note: All Board hearings are entirely optional and are not required to adjudicate your appeal.

Wounded Warrior Disability Benefits (FAQ)

Service members who become disabled while on active military service on or after October 1, 2001, regardless of where the disability occurs, can receive expedited processing of disability claims from Social Security. Benefits available through Social Security are different than those from the Department of Veterans Affairs and require a separate application. Read the FAQ to learn more about the claims process.
